Season's Greetings from MadderLake Cafe!!! It has been a very good year and we appreciate your patronage!
Although it is a time when many businesses are slowing down for the
winter season, at MadderLake we have many new events to invite you to,
and a brand new website (designed by Joe & Joely Zerbey of
EverGreen Farm) full of information and details -
www.madderlakecafe.com.
To start off the winter season, we are offering our Cold-Weather
Comfort Food Menu on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The menu
includes a first course, entree, and dessert (with choices) for
$20.00/person. Scott is a huge fan of American comfort food and
has a great time bringing back your old favorites!
To help you celebrate
the holidays, we will be open on both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
for great food and wine! On both evenings we will offer our
regular menu format, plus, on Christmas Eve there will be several
specials appropriate to the occasion, and on New Years' Eve a
four-course wine-pairing dinner will be offered.
We are also introducing our inaugural season of the MadderLake Wine Tasting Group.
One Sunday each month the MadderLake Wine Tasting will feature great
wine, food, and conversation. Our tasting group will feature at
least one guest winemaker or wine professional from the area. The
wines will be tasted blind and rated by the group with discussion to
follow. It’s a great way to exercise your palate and to be
introduced to wines that you might never taste otherwise.
Everyone is invited to attend from beginning wine lovers to
professionals – there will be something for everyone!
Each guest will bring one bottle of wine of their choice that follows
the parameters of the tasting (not to exceed $15.00 in cost). We
will include a few of our favorite wines, set up the tasting and
provide appetizers throughout the evening. The tasting is limited
to 14 guests and the cost is $15.00/each plus the bottle of wine
Jan. 27th – New world reds from Argentina, Chile, Spain, New Zealand, and Australia
Feb. 17th – Pinot Noir from around the World
March 16th – Dry white wines from the Finger Lakes and North America
For any of our events, please feel free to give us a call at
315-781-2424 or email at madderlakecafe@verizon.net. We will be
happy to give you further information or confirm a reservation.
We look forward to
seeing you in the next few weeks to celebrate the Season and remember
to think of us for those hard-to-buy for on your Christmas List.
We have gift certificates in any denomination and feel free to place an
order by email or telephone. We will happily mail out your gift
certificate with a festive Holiday card and your greetings!
Best wishes,
Laura & Scott
